Description
During part of last year and early this year, me and some friends (mostly members of the team's Detail Library) participated in a pilot animation project for TV called Pirates vs. Ninjas vs. Robots vs. Cowboys (or PNRC). All production used open-source tools: Ubuntu, GIMP, Inkscape and Blender obvimamente.
We used an animation technique called "Cutout", where the characters are simple plans with textures and RIG. But the scenery was 3d with a visual "picture", but I say that painting like those found in games (Cell Shading). This is because the thematic of the series was inspired by games.
My job on the team was leading 3d artist, digital compositing and post production, animation effects (particle), creating the 3D pipeline (along with animation director Daniel Pinheiro), shading and lighting scenarios.

On this one I did the Particle Grass and straw, Compositing, shading and texturing (painted by other artist), Lighting.
